Reply with quote | #1 | On those long and cold lonely nights I would wonder to myself how goes my inner candle's light For I've had tears of doubt and sadness And sand of angerand resentment poured upon it Yet my little candle, oh my little candle, would still burn so bright and strong where I've kept it deep inside and locked up all along Andon one day my little flame grew And my body it started to consume It burst forth from within me an dfilled me so completely Ever since then my life's been going smoothly But everynow and then I'm afraid that my tears and sand will harm it So I go to lock it up and keep it safe And my big bright candle will burn brighter with a tingle To tell me no to lock it up tight Because he warms other people, not just me On those long and cold lonely nights |

You have great talents. Keep it up. Even though I'm much older than you, your poem touched me and I could definitely identify with it. Love, Alba |

Reply with quote | #5 | Great job Dorian!. I don't know if I'd have guts to put myself out there like this. I might try some haiku because it is shorter by nature. |
